When thinking about existing infrastructures designed to mobilize and organize massive amounts of resources, nothing compares to the military.
Because so many veterans have so much of the type of experience that the mass mobilization that we're catalyzing is going to require, and because they've all been trained in common systems, protocols, organizational structures, chains of command, etc. it wouldn't be efficient to mobilize society without prioritizing organizing an extensive infrastructure of veterans to help direct the process.
